Personal Trainer Sydney tripping up at the supermarket

Tripping up arse over tit at the supermarket.

Not literally guys…..although there was the time I slipped and fell over some spilt yogurt in the fridge aisle while checking out the hot, straight chick picking out some hummus with her boyfriend (but we can save that for another jibber jabber I think).

No, I am talking about making boo boo’s food shopping. One of the main reasons I end up eating crap, not eating enough, eating too much, eating the stuff I hadn’t intended to etc etc is because I don’t sort my shit out when it comes to food shopping. I can be like a teenage boy (sorry for the stereotype and to all of those organised, culinary young fellas out there). My cupboards and fridge can get real empty with only a Pure Blonde (of the beer variety) left on the shelf.

I have made a dedicated effort to sort this out of late. I’m always posting jibber jabber about food preparation so you don’t make poor choices. I struggle with this too and I need to make sure that I practice what I preach. The weekly food shop is where I made all of the changes.

Here is a lil check list so you don’t trip up arse over tit at the supermarket.

*don’t go food shopping when you are hungry

*avoid the big supermarket chains if your feeling like you are gonna buy junk (your senses are bombarded on every aisle)

*buy your veggies from a veggie place (much less bombardment of junk)

*don’t buy any treats, you must go and buy them individually and you then have less chance of eating them when you have to go and buy them instead of having them readily available

*do check out the hot chick in the fridge aisle and impress her with the amount of different coloured veggies, various protein sources and coconut oil in your cart (check out the sexy pic of my cart)
