With my marathon experience totally behind me (thank goodness) I have time to reflect on how weak and deflated my body, spirit and mind felt during the whole training process. Now I am back in the gym lifting and outside sprinting and I feel AMAZING! I am regaining my strength, my vitality and my energy levels. I make no apologies to my endurance junkie followers and friends… each to their own but I know MY BODY is designed to lifting heavy and moving quickly and I respond really well to this.
